Question Tube vs Tubeless

have a '05 1100 custom, ordered new Shinko 230 on line, came in has tubeless on label and sidewall. Pulled front wheel and checked the Dunlap 555 and it has tube type on side wall. Question is can I run the Shinko with a tube or am I screwed and have to buy a different tire. Only cost me $60 bucks online.

You can still install the tubeless tire, but you still need the tube in most cases. As recommended here ( ) you should downgrade the speed rating for the increased heat from friction.

There are conversion kits to convert the rim to full tubeless, but doing so is at your own risk. These kits or instructions usually involve sealing the spoke holes.
