Coming clean about Dunlop 440īs
i thought that I would come clean about my history with Dunlop 440 tires. I have said in the past that I thought they were not a good tire for my 1100 Silverado because they did not hold up well. The rear tire had to be replaced at 10,000. Value for the buck is inportant to me.
I am today changing the front tire on my bike. It has 16529 miles on it and it is a Dunlop 440. I have been waiting for it to wear out so I can replace it with a Pirrelli Route 66 but it was slow to go. I will have a match set again.
So, I cannot really bad mouth the Dunlop 440- It came with the bike originally and is just now ready to be replaced. Any tire that goes 15 grand miles or more is worthwhile. I will not return to that brand becasue of the ride but the mileage has sure been revealing.
My feet on the pegs and lots of time to go where the road leads.
