Replacing brake lines

I know, not a tire question, but didn't know where else to place it.

Anyone have any advice/tips/references for replacing brake lines? Interested in braided stainless steel lines. Need a slightly longer front brake line due to a handlebar change and figure I might as well do them all while I'm at it.

I bought a set of HEL lines for another bike from mospowersports.com. They will make them to your custom length, and they do a great job. I'll be doing my VStar this winter and will be using them again for mine.

Other than that, installing them should be straightforward:
Protect the paint
Drain the master cylinder
Replace the lines
Fill/bleed/do stoppies

Have fun!
