Louder Please !

My 1700 sounds really nice. But would like to pick it up a notch..

Already has the Vance and Hines, jetted, and a hypercharger.

What else can I do to make it a little louder ?

It looks like the back part of the pipes might be removable.. Are they, and if so, would that do the trick ?

Hey, Nice looking bike.

That piece on the end is usually just a billet chrome cap for a finished look on the pipes.

Do you know what style of V & H pipes those are?

Those look like long shots.
They come with baffles. If it has baffles installed you can take them out and they will be louder.

Yes, the muffler will detach from the header pipes. If you take the mufflers off it might be a bit too loud and could cause other issues.

Taking the baffles out might require re jetting.
Some other guys here can give you more info in that regard

I stuck a flashlight down em.. The inner wall of the last section is lined with baffling . There is a screw that hold the baffles in place. Looks simple enough to remove..

Will wait to hear from others to find out if it will means re jetting..

Thank you Authentic Poser.

Thank you Redbird !

I did get a good suggestion that pulling the baffles out will make it louder.. Ordered a dent puller kit that is shown used to remove them in a Youtube video..

Got the baffles out.. Sounds excellent, but not entirely sure I care for the excessive popping when letting off the throttle..
