I am down sizing been doing alot of research .I have my original owned 2006 Goldwing up for sale. The 1300 will be good fit for me. My oppinion the V star far beats the Honda Vtx 1300 in looks and finish.Plus v star is over 50 pounds lighter.

Personnally I liked the ride on my Vstar1300 better than the VTX and I also preferred the performance of the Vstar Fuel injection over the VTX1300 carb.

I'm very happy with my choice to get the Yamaha .. My previous bike was a 2013 Shadow phantom.. so changing brands was a first issue but test riding them both (honda, yamaha 1300's) back to back made my choice very easy .
