Smokey, you have been pure and true to the best! Wish Ol Sugar Bear could say the same, took him awhile to find the best but sure did get it after awhile. Hang tough and don't go branchin off to some of those that figger they are the only ride there is. You got the best and know it Ride Safe. (yeah, I like Yamaha a ton)

Ride Safe, Live Long

One of my favorite bikes was a 72 triumph 750 Trident with a Stein LS200 sidecar made in 1953. I still have the sidecar and one day may put it on my V star. I'm 65 and have bad joints, hips and knees, One day I might need it to hold up the bike. I've had too many bikes to list probably 16 or so.

No pictures, but my learner bike was a a 1987 Suzuki LS650 Savage. If you're not familiar with that model, its a one-cylinder bike that just barely counts as full-size. The whole thing probably didn't weigh more than 450 pounds. I'm 6'3'' and about 180 lbs so I looked a little funny on it, but it was great for feeling out the road. That was in 2009.
Late last year I sold it and purchased a 2007 vstar 100 classic. Must say I'm much happier on the bigger engine
