New Indian line??

Anyone see the new Indians by Polaris?

While I dig the retro look...its an UGLY retro look. But the features are sweet. Power front windshield, hard bags with electric locks, no key starting....

What yall think?

Yes absolutely love the Chieftain. Love everything about it. Passing lights and turn signals molded into the fairing, super high tech dash, and the keyless starter. Man if I ever buy a brand new bike it will be a Chieftain.

Saw them at two different locations, dealer about an hour and a half away, and then the NCY Int'l MC show. Yep like them, hate the big $$'s to buy them though

Ended up with a 2014 Stratoliner Deluxe instead, guess it was a case of Chieftain envy

I don't think they are priced to bad. They are more then the stars, and right with HD

The motor is pure engine porn... I love the way they styled it.

If I were to go Indian, it would be the Chieftain but Id be riding a Cross Country if I went Polaris.

I think if they retroed the old indian style better they could have pulled a lot more of the market.

Odd that you'd list those as the 'sweet' features. Most people seem to go straight for the fuel capacity and the number of gears in the transmission.

but, yes they are some really nice bikes. I'm not 100% on the styling but the engineering and the spec sheet seem perfect.

Can't wait to see some customized ones with a more modern look.
The motor and all, look good just want something a little more modern looking.
Like the bike over to the left. LOL

If I understand correctly, they will vibrate a lot.....on purpose! Why? I had a bike that vibrated and was happy to sell it.

I really like the looks of that fairing on the Chieftain, in all honesty though it took me a couple look overs to feel that way.
