According to the forecast which is never ever wrong: today is the last 100 degree day this week. Only 98 for the rest of the forecast!

I think I'm going to ride down to Gun Barrel City today and on to Belton later this afternoon. Can't let this triple digit day go to waste.

I've been inspired by Les and Pat. Inspiration or blame. One of those. 8-)

Thanks graybeard! This is my fifth summer with the 650 Custom, and I still feel that "liquid silver" is the best colour for it! But it seems that, from a distance, everyone and their uncle thinks it's a Harley, and when they learn that it's a Yamaha some folks look slightly disappointed... and I'm not too sure just how I feel about that, haha! I've never owned a HD, but hey, if they're even half as much fun as my V-Star Custom, it would still be a very good bike indeed!

I would think a lot of you will be envious of this. I am on long hours this week at work but the truck stays home

Yep. Envy. It'll be weeks before we see anything like that.

Ran a little over 200 miles today from noon to nine with a stopover at friends' place along the way. HOT, but fun.

After a hotter than normal summer, weíre finally experiencing a cool down.
This morning when I got up, I went outside and this is what I saw. At least I finished mowing. Yet Iím not complaining, Iíll take the low 80ís any day over mid 90ís.
