Favorite Teacher.

Mrs. McDonald in the 5th grade. My Mom and Grandma taught me to love reading but Mrs. McDonald opened up my world to books (Bookmobiles). She had a reading contest and Tommy Parker and I won. She took us to Knotts Berry Farm. I'm sure on her own dime and bought me a box and arrow. I was in love. Tell us your own teacher stories.

Riding is not just what I do but who I am.

I hated school from about the se one grade on. I just wanted to socialize & hang. That other stuff, while pretty important, got in the way.
That said... I had a few teachers that we cool enough & a couple other that were amusing.
Cam Whitford was cool. He & I shared a love of Harley Davidsons.
Ms. Gunn was hysterical, unintentionally. She would bring up a book & say. "Child. I know your read this book." (& be completely serious.)
"Yes, Ms. Gunn. My parents sat me down in first grade & made me read War & Peace."
There are others. I just don't have time to type it out on my phone.
