Perfect condition, always garaged, great little cruiser! It just needs a new, caring home.
Rear tire has less than 1000 miles on it (replaced by Snake River Yamaha). Regularly serviced by Dave at McCall Motorcycle (great guy). Valves adjusted (and complete 12,000 mile service) at the end of last season and I've only ridden it less than 200 miles since. Paint is 10/10. Has a OEM Yamaha luggage rack and an after market "Viper" windscreen. I have only run ethanol free gas in it. It has 13,664 miles on it.
The bike has kind of an interesting history. It was purchased new by an older gentleman in 2006. He put about 500 miles on it and, unfortunately, passed away less than a year after he bought it. One of his friends purchased the bike from his widow, put about 500 miles on it -- then scared himself on it and decided that motorcycles really weren't his thing. A friend of his purchased it (another older gentleman) -- put about 1500 miles on it and in late 2009 suffered a back injury (not motorcycle related) and the doctor said "no more motorcycles!" So ... it sat in his garage, covered by multiple layers of blankets for just shy of two years before he could come to grips with parting with it. In 2011, he got it to Snake River Yamaha in Boise for a front to rear tune up ... and I stumbled upon his craigslist ad minutes after he posted it. It's still a great bike in perfect condition -- I start it up from time to time but it is ready for a new chapter in it's history!
Perfect for around town and big enough for that once in a while road trip!
