Round 2 explorer seat anyone have one?

Hi everyone. Anyone have a saddleman explorer seat? The Danny grey seat the wife still has an issue with so its gotta go I do admit it's great on my lower back support is amazing. I found out after a 20 mile trip there seems to be a burning feeling somewhere new.... seat puts pressure on the boys. So I will agree with the wife new seat time. I sat on a mustang did not like it. We ordered the explorer but kinda going into it blind. Anyone have one can you let me know what you think. I should have this seat in tomorrow or monday

2008 V-Star Silverado 1100. K&N filter, airbox mod passenger floor boards, all light visors, ISO grips, Cobra slash cut mufflers, Saddleman touring seat/ tourpack. Lots of little extras.

Round 2 explorer seat anyone have one?

I have an Ultimate seat with the rider backrest and I recently bought the matching Ultimate passenger seat for the wife. As for comfort I love it...its great my ass doesn't get numb like the stock seat and it also helps my old lower back too. I don't know how well saddlemen seats are but I hope it's comfortable as they're not cheap seats. Good luck with the seat...

Thanks for the responce from what I've read the ultimate follows or uses the stock seat pan that seems to be my biggest issue. My tail bone rides on the outer edge of the seat. It may be a good comfort option but the wife ordered this seat already.

So the new seat is in and on the bike. The gel seat is a little firm not as much back support as the Danny grey seat. Fitment wise there is a small gap between the seat and the tank. Th d g seat did not have this gap. Comfort not sure yet I need to get some miles on it and see. Just a short hop around town the wife was more comfortable but I was not hard seat again gel. Noticeable difference on road surfaces were seen small bumps cracks in the road are much less noticeable. Again I'm not sold yet but from what I am reading the more you ride the more it forms to your rear end

I don't think Ultimate uses the stock seat pan. When I bought mine from Ultimate they gave me a brand new seat and I still have my original stock seat. You're probably thinking about Pacific Coast Star...they do the seat exchange. I know because I did the swap with them and to be quite honest I found no difference from stock to their modified shaved down seat. I love my Ultimate seat sorry my ass loves the seat.

That could be my ass is so confused with seats so many options which is a good thing. I just wish there were places one could try first without committing to a purchase first
