Question Replacing stock handle bars

Anyone know how tall or wide of handle bars you can put on to keep the factory wiring?

Welcome to the forums

You did post this in the Roadstar Thread but this will post up in the Active Topic listings as well for everyone to see..

I don't have a Roadstar but i did find this site that may help that is specific to the Road Star.

https://www.roadstarclinic.com/

You can also try searching this site . I'm on a Vstar 1300 so I'm not sure if the handlebar options would be the same as the Roadstar.

Here is a thread on here..

Looks like changing to the Royal Star bar is common between models.

Thanks, I'll definitely check those out. I tried a few different forums and this one has been by far the best in the little amount of time that I have been able to spend on it!

Sorry, my bad... I usually just click on the Recent Discussions list and fail to pay attention to the directory the post is under.

I know for the vstars its 12-inch bars with some minor rerouting. Don't know 100% for the Roadstar but I am almost certain nothing over 12-inch bars will fit stock wiring on any bike. If you end up re-wiring, shoot me a PM if you have any questions. I have 16-inch bars on mine and it's not bad at all to re-wire.
