What are these three buttons for on my 2004, 1700 ?

the tuning forks is just the Yamaha logo

the other two.. I would guess are for the odo?

The button on the left is for switching between the trip odometers. The one on the right, clears the trip odometers.
When you hold them both down. You can change the time. A manual for your bike can/should explain how to use them.
