New stuff

So my bike has received a mini-makeover the past couple weeks. Drivers backrest, flags installed so they cannot break off, new veterans license plate, kuryakyn cup holder.

Installing the backrest was a bear because it doesn't attach to the seat, it attaches to the rear fender bolts that hold the bags and trunk. So I had to hold the bags with one hand, trunk with another, seat with a 3rd, and with my 4th screw in the bolt. The stock 30mm bolts weren't cutting it, so I opted for 35mm bolts.

Thanks!

I have to take it apart again though. I forgot to put my sirius/xm receiver back up on top after it was all together, and during my test ride it got torn off, so I need to buy a new one.

I'd love to hear the details too as I have the same bike and thought of doing the same thing. I really like how this guy did his 1300

New stuff is good !!!! Didn't know they had a Veteran plate for MC's in PA. Learn something new every day.
