Cool Where or who to buy parts from?

Hi all you Roadies.

I need to replace the headlamp rim on my 2005 Midnight Roadstar, Yamaha part #5VN-84315-00-00. Tried looking at area cycle salvage yards, but no luck. Purchsed new runs about $155. Found one at BikdBandit.com for $129 (free shipping).

Looking for recommendations of what vendors to purchase from. If by chance you know of a salvage yard that I should contact, please advise. All suggestions are welcome.

Thanks.

Motorcycle parts are like specialist Dr.s. You go to different ones for different things. I use jake wilson for tires and accessories, Chaperal Motorsports and sloan a lot. You will find your favorites and then some.
Good luck and keep the rubber side down.

My feet on the pegs and lots of time to go where the road leads.

Thanks for responding la modrugada. I agree, you often need to go to several different dealers/suppliers based on the parts needed.
