True Cruise Control for Road Stars

I finished up my 2000 Road Star Ultra with an Audiovox CCS-100 Cruise control mod. I have tested it and it works great. It will cost about $180.00 to install. I wrote a manual up so other could use as a reference. This install should work on all 1999-2007 Road Stars. If have a 2008-2011 EFI model I can point you to a install for a Stratoliner that should work for newer Road Stars. I have rheumatoid arthritis so I needed the cruise control and did not like the throttle locks on the market. I bought my kit from
My manual can be downloaded at
I did make a few changes to the install. I moved the Delay timer and the Turn signal relay to the left side cover. I also made the vacuum canister 4" inches long because it was hitting the rear swing arm. Those changes are not in the manual at murhkits. I am revising the manual soon. I do know of one other person that has done the mod since I wrote the manual and he likes his cruise controlled Road Star Trike. Great mod for the winter time. Good luck if you need any help please email me.
