Roadie w/side car ?

Has any one ridden or even seen a roadstar with a side car?

I'm not getting any younger and it seems like a side car might be an alternative to a trike when the time comes.

If and only if for stability I would say no... Side cars are known to be problamatic when turning right at any speed. You have all that weight hanging on that side of the bike and when you turn if it isn't weighted down FLIP you will go. Not something I would want to deal with.

I get the getting older thing my pops is having issues with his raider now and my mom refuses to ride with him period at this point. Id rather have you alive and safe sporting a trike than not and wishing you had.

Thanks for the reply Barman.
I have multiple reasons for considering a side car.one of the reasons is stability.

I have a cabin up north that is located on a soft sand two track. I figure a side car rig would get me in there better than my Roadie will.

I was aware that the car will fly in a right turn but thought only to happen only at high speed.

I guess I'll have to find one and ride it first.
