Middle Drive Gear Cover

I was leaking gear oil and discovered a crack in a screw hole on the cover.

I have the part numbers but have a question of what else is needed.

the parts are the numbers in this exploded view

http://www.partzilla.com/parts/searc...EAR/parts.html

45 for the cover
8 for the gasket

my question is do i need the # 50 o-ring also?
thanks

You don't need the gasket #8 just to replace the outer cover. You can probably reuse the o-ring #50 but it wouldn't hurt to order a new one just in case.

The only place there should be any oil behind that cover is in the area of the fill hole and check hole. The o-ring seals it in that area.

if you look where bolt 51 installs, the top of the curve is cracked and oil leaks out
