Cool How do I remove the ignition cover on my road star ?

I purchased a smooth ignition cover for my 2005 1700 road star silverado .How do I remove the stock Yamaha one. Can anyone help me out with this ? Thank you sooooo much.

On the lower left hand side of the engine , near the floorboard , there is a small round cover that says Yamaha on it. I need to remove that one to install the new smooth faced cover

Go to the diagram in this link.

Remove cover #17. The little round Yamaha cover is held on by 2 phillips head screws from the inside.
