Have any of you guys installed a mechanical oil pressure gauge?

I was scouring the net and came across an old thread about a Raider owner doing it and he got advice from a Road Star install. I understand how to get this done. I just don't know where to tap my motor. Oh, it's a Stratoliner by the way. That's how I came across a Raider installation. Thanks!

Well..I"m in the midst of the same install. I have a 1600 roadstar and am tapping into engine on the rear right oil drian plug. I'm told that there is pressure there as it's the test hole for the engine. I am using the same install directions from roadstar clinic.. banjo bolt..and watch coming off the engine cause a straight banjo won't clear your frame..I also used rubber oil hose instead of brake line..I'm gonna connect to a oil pressure gauge mounted in my fairing. Hope this helps
