Road Star 1700 mufflers

Hello! Wondering if anyone can tell me if mufflers from a carbed 1700 would work on a fi 1700. Reason for asking, I have a 2012 Roadstar and did the "stage 1" drilling of my mufflers. Not really pleased with the sound so I just decided to put stockers back on and be done with it. I can find lots of used/take off muffs from carbed bikes for relatively cheap prices but the fi ones are not as plentiful. Would there be any reason the carbed ones wouldn't work on my fi bike?
Thanks in advance!

Don`t some mufflers have O2 sensors built in?

My immediate guess is that if the motor is the same the pipes will fit. If needed the o2 sensor can be swapped out.

Thanks for the responses guys. I took a chance and bought a nice barely used set of pipes and muffs from an 07 for $80.00. the 02 sensors are in the head pipes so the muffs worked just fine. I guess in my old age I prefer it to be quieter!

Good to here Bill . I drilled my stocks out over the winter and am pleased with the result . Not too loud and for me a better rumble than stockers . I didn`t want to get too noisy and I`m sure the neighbors would not want that either :-)
