Pop when Key Turned On

2005 Road Star Midnight. Turned key and heard a pop, now I have no power at all. Battery checks out, and all fuses including the main are OK. Any Ideas??

Easy check - connect your voltmeter directly to the battery posts. You should see somewhere about 12.5 volts, give or take a little. Turn on the key while watching the voltmeter. It should drop a little, say a half volt, reflecting the current drawn by such stuff as running lights, fuel pump, electronic ignition and the like. If it doesn't drop at all the bike is drawing no current, and you have a problem in the bike, which could be the ignition switch itself or a broken wire. If it drops a lot, several volts, the battery is likely shot.

Thanks, I did not see any drop in voltage. I have reached my technical limits and so I took it to the shop.
