Raider rider, pokin' around

Hey folks, got a few questions about Road Stars:

Weight, bound to be about 650 I'm guessing?

What year did they go EFI? 2008?

Known issues/problems to look for when shopping?

If I ever migrated I'd go with the 102cu. in. for sure, don't care for the Warriors at all, much to sport bike-ish, didn't fit on it well, and it felt plain awkward honestly. Thanks for the input.

Hey,
I am a noob here but I think the answers are:

1. Dealer told me 700Lb wet.
2. FI added in 2008
3. For my 2001, there was a tranny recall, and the dealer mentioned another recall that i can't remember at the moment.

Hope that helps

Good info thanks Fletch, how about fuel economy and miles/tank, heavy handed-ness aside😉

I checked Fuelly.com, and there are 18 R* reporting, and the average is 39 MPG. The dealer filled my tank Saturday, and I have about 1/2 yet and have 100 miles on the trip meter.

Yeah, reason I was asking is I read an article in Baggers about traveling around out in the SW, Nevada specifically. They mentioned having to get gas in some town, since there wasn't another gas station for like 125mi. I wouldn't make it on a Raider!

I just did 180 miles on a tank full and that was with 2 up. The last tank of solo riding I got 195 miles out of a tank. As with most stock seats this one sucks also.
