Hyper Charger vs. K&N filter kit

Is there a big difference in performance between a hyper charger and k&n filter kit? I'm going to be upgrading intake and exhaust on my Roadie. Just ordered the iridium plugs for it.

The k & n filter just fits in your stock intake which is very restricted but does allow a better air flow. The hyper charger sucks in ALOT more air plus it comes with a k & n filter too. Huge difference

I was thinking the full kit not just the element. But definitely swaying to the hyper charger.

Raul is correct, I went with the LA choppers XXX open air filter kit on my 950t, big difference from a k&n air filter in the stock housing.

First....keeping in mind that this is a carbed Road Star....

Most guys I know that bought a Hypercharger eventually ditched them. They aren't the easiest to tune for and the gains (dyno numbers) were really no better than something like a Big Air Kit....or just replacing the stock filter with a K&N.

IMO The Hyper Charger just a very expensive ornament....
