Running/Turn Lights Front---Turn Lights Only Rear

I noticed my wife's 2000 650 V Star has running lights with her turn signals up front and just turn signals no running lights in the rear. Does anyone know if that is the stock configuration? Thanks

That is stock on most bikes.. the 250,650,1100,1300 and the 1900.. most manufacturers follow this . The rear brake light is the running light in the rear . Now some manufacturers..Harley.. has running/marker lights in the rear turns on some models but they are red for both applications.

Hey thanks for that, my wife's previous bike (Honda Rebel 250) had running and turn lights on both ends.
