Cobra Power Pro HP 2-Into-1 Exhaust System baffle

Good Evening Everyone!
I am riding a V-star 1100 with a Cobra Power Pro HP 2-Into-1 Exhaust System on it. The folks I bought it from took the baffle out giving it some back firing issues that just sound crappy. I have searched on line for the proper baffle however I am not finding one for this specific exhaust system. I looked at Cobra and D.K. / JP Cycles / ebay and amazon. I am finding baffles for all the cobra pipes except the Cobra Power Pro HP 2-Into-1 Exhaust System. Can anyone throw out some insight! Thanks!

They May Be Able To Help...

Don't let the name throw you, they also make quiet baffles.

Thanks Arby! that's perfect! I am not necessarily looking for quiet, just get that awful popping/backfire sound to stop. After doing some research at the cobra site, they said removing the baffle was one the worst things you can do. They said that removing the baffle can even effect the performance. Thanks again!

You're welcome.

Yep, you lose low end torque

I had Cobra Streetrod Slashdowns on my VTX 1300.
Thunder baffles eliminated the tinny sound, and deepened the sound.

Kinda pricey I thought, but well worth it.

So I did some calling around to some local cycle shops in my area in N.East Ohio and I found myself at Canton Cycles in canton Ohio. This is a great mom and pop shop and I really dig places like that. Al (owner) really knows his stuff and he hooked me up with a baffle and padding. I installed it Saturday and the difference is amazing, still has a very little bit of popping but it seems to subside after a while. The sound is now deep and a lot throatier. Sounds good! Thanks again for your help...ride safe!
All the best!
lesblank and arby like this.
