Throttle cable replacement or repair

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between a 1100 classic and 1100 custom throttle cables? The hollow tube that tightens the cable at the carb end broke. I found a custom set of cables but I have a classic. Will they work? Does anyone know what stock length is? I’m gonna try to find someone to repair my stainless braided cables, but need something to get me back on road. YouTube has lots of videos on how to repair cables. But I’m just not that comfortable with soldering it together. Any other ideas

Just looked it up on ebay and according to the listing the same cable fits all 1100s, Custom and Classic. I'd call your local dealer to verify, but they're basically the same bike mechanically so it makes sense. Here's the link to the one I found: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/The-new-thro...oAAOSw3utY8PpX

Thought maybe one was longer or slight bend different or bracket clamps. Something insignificant
