Talking 1300A tyre reccomendations please

Hi Folks,
as my Vstar 1300A is in need of a new rear tyre and at 11000km is dead and worn quite flat!! (OEM tyre was a Bridgestone Exadra G7727 170/70/16) the service guy asked me how come this bikes tyre was worn so flat when your last bike wore well all round? my answer is this one doesnt corner like my last bike did LOL ...... still the question I have is what tyres are others running on this filly as there does not seem to be much available at the OEM size or are you all moving up to 180/65's? and if so how well do they wear handle etc I would like to get something that will last a bit longer than 4 months ..... I saw a bridgestone battleax that seemed different to the OEM tyre and promised longer life or was it the same tyre??? thanks for your input (I did do a search but did not find much on newer tyres)

There are several of us which use Michelin Commanders and like them very much. Here a few links about 1300 tires.

Good luck on your search.

Hi Folks,

I have found this tyre available from Bridgestone Battlecruise H50 180/70B16 77H that also comes in a 180/65B16 81H I have two questions hoping someone could help with, has anyone tried them? and which of these two would be the better fit .... I am thinking the 180/70 as the 70 is the same as my original ..... Thanks

why isnt the front tyre's H rating the same as the rear?

Bridgestone are also offering a half price front tyre when buying the rear
81H 180/65 HB16 M/C – 8001852 – H50RZ – $299.95 Australian Dollars
77H 180/70 HB16 M/C – 8001853 – H50RZ – $309.95

73H 130/90 HB16 M/C – 8001768 – H50RZ – $219.00
