Forward controls with crash guard.

Love the bike. 2009 v star 1100. Finally got it on the street and man that was fun. The only problem I have is that I need about 4 inches for the controls. Here is the problem. I am not able to because of the crashgaurds. I was wondering if there are any crashgaurds or modifications that can be done for this issue?

Eric, I don't have part #. Star made a couple types of highway bars for the 1100 and right now the only type I can find in the various OEM parts distributors are like the ones you have. Might try to search for them on E-Bay. Maybe someone will chime in and know where you can get them.

PEACE and BLESSINGS

Does anyone on here have any other ideas. I think it would be a big help for me if I could find the right crashgaurds or of any modifications.

Garage
This is what I did when moving my floorboards 4 inches forward on my 1100 V-Star. This might help. See my posts near the tail end of this thread . . . https://www.starbikeforums.com/forum...extension.html
