Replacing floorboards with pegs

Hey everyone. Looking to replace my floorboards with some forward control pegs. Anyone ever do this to a star 950 Tourer? Plan is to convert my 12’ 950 tourer into a bobber via BCB kit. But I’m thinking I don’t want the boards. Would rather have the stretched out feel of forward controls. Where can I get some pegs and how easy would it be to switch them out? Any info would be helpful. Thanks

there are forward control extension kits available for the 950 as long as you don't have an engine guard. they will move up the floorboard mounts and then you can just replace the boards with pegs of your choosing.

I havent found an exact bolt on for the board to pegs. Been racking my brain on how to make it work.

Both me and another guy have been discussing this same exact topic. And its not as simple as removing the boards and adding pegs.

Yeah those are extensions. Not peg brackets. Those just move the boards forward.

You will have to make custom brackets. They dont make a direct replacement for pegs. I think one company did at one time. Demand wasnt high enough.
