Biltwell XL Keystone Handlebar

Hello everyone!!! I have a 2007 vstar 1100 custom (my first bike) and I am very interested in purchasing these Biltwell XL Keystone Handlebars....

Im looking to learn and do the install myself.

When removing the throttle assembly, I noticed a little nub inside where it sits flush into the stock handlebars. I see that there is a dimpled version of the NEW handlebars that I may select.

So my main questions are...

1. Will ordering the dimpled version be the correct selection?
2. Will this be a direct install without modifying lines and such?

Any info would be great help for this newbie to modifying his bike! Thanks all!

you can drill an oversized hole to fit the nib.i used dimpled bars, but i ran the wires inside the bars so the dimple interfered with drilling the 3/8th hole for the wires. plus the dimple distorted the bar and i couldn't get the control to line up properly, if i had to do it again i'd go without dimples. might be able to exit the wires thru the dimple but who knows
