I’ve seen a few vstars around Sydney Australia with these trunk bags. They look cool. Does anyone know if they are any good or practical? I can only find them online from USA and the shipping costs are dearer than the bag, So I’d like to know if it’s worth the expense.

I'm waiting to hear what people have to say about this. I'm pretty sure my wife would like the wraparound backrest. If I did longer trips the trunk might we worthwhile. Looking forward to see what people have to say.

I bought one for my 950 tourer. I paid $70 for it through eBay. I carry my gloves, rain suit, a tire repair kit in it, and my helmet. Keeps from clogging up my saddle bags with stuff.

I would be careful about how much weight you place in them. My wife and I took a coastal trip up and down the California coastline and when we got home I notice a lot of wear on the new rear tire, I ended up replacing it.

These bikes just are not made for the extra weight, so be careful is all I am saying. But I love it for helmet storage.

Do you think they’re worth the expense? Are they strong or secure enough? Do they rattle and leak, or would you trust your darling leaning on the back support?
