Silly Question...but

I am so sorry to make my first post a really dumb question, but here goes...

How do I tell when my 2002 VStar 1100 Classic has the fuel indicator turned to gas or to reserve? Is the bigger end of the knob the actual "pointer" or is it the skinnier end?

help

My friend, as i'm sure you have heard many times before, there are not sillly or dumb questions, if you don't know, you want to know, so here goes from Sugar Bear, on my 06 it is stamped on your fuel petcock, it is the "skinny end" hope I can help some.

Agree

There are no dumb questions. I wondered the same thing once. I think if you rotate the fuel valve end to end while looking at the pointer it will come to you. Only one end will point to off.

Thank you both!!! I think judging by your description Dave, it makes excellent sense! So helpful, and I am so thankful.
