mpg pipes

i've got a 2006 1100 vstar silverado i'm getting it tuned up i have 9500 miles first time i'm getting it piped will this increase my mpg im only getting 25 to 30 mpg

25-30?! That's not right for an 1100 - not even close.
When was the last time you had your air cleaner completely off the bike?

My '05 1100 Custom gets around 40 mpg...25-30 seems really wrong.

I don't 'hot rod' around. I take a mellow cruising attitude and i average 42-44mpg. That's with mods including re-jetting. Approx 60% of my riding is highway miles.

I have a Maxair predator Pro Kit and Cobra Power Pro 2 into one exhaust and ride almost exclusively two up and get 45 MPG's. Usually around 145 to 165 out of a tank depending on how long I want to stand around and do the last half gallon trickle... you guys know the drill!

i have a 08 1100 siliverdo, i get around 40 to 45 mpg, i had it rejeted with my new exhaust
