2005 V-Star 1100 Custom Seat Height

A friend and I were talking about riding and I mentioned that I have dragged my foot posts a couple of times on some turns; did it this morning on my way to the office. He suggested that I need to adjust the rear shock to raise the bike a bit. I know the shock dampener can be stiffened, but does the length adjutst? I had a 1982 Virago with the rear mono-shock that could be adjusted with compressed air.

Your thoughts?

There is no real need to raise your bike, I have dragged the pegs on every bike I've ever owned. Its just on of those things. I drag the floorboards on my liner all the time. It can startle you if you dont know its coming but if you are really leaning into it you know its coming most if the time. Besides if you raise it you will make it more top heavy and may not handle as well. Keep draggin those pegs!

I drag my floorboards so often I had to replace the rub strips $18 each. They throw off pretty sparks at night.
