Handle Bar Risers

I have a 2008 XVS V-Star 1300 and would like to put 4" handle bar risers but unable to use universal risers as the speedo assy is mounted on handle risers. Has anybody seen risers to suit and were would I get them.

Try www.cruisercustomizing.com. They have a wide selection of manufactures and styles. Good luck.

Bikerschoice.com has a great selection of both the rectangle set and the staggered bolt patterns. I had to change my Custom from rectangle to staggered to put my pro-one tach riser clamp on.

These are the only risers for a 1300 so far. http://www.roxspeedfx.com/cgi-bin/ca...?subcat_id=304
I have an 07 1300. The other option that a lot of people are happy with is using the RSTD bars or the 950 bars. Your stock cables will fit.
here is another good 1300 forum to get lots of info from.

hope this helps

RSTD is the yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe. So any Yamaha dealer or any aftermarket supplier. Here is the part number for the bars. 1D6-26110-01-00
Here is another good forum that talks about the bars for our bike. http://www.yamahamotorcycleforum.com/ Register and then go to the forums, scroll down and you will see a section for nothing but the 1300. Don't hesitate to ask if you have more questions. I am magoo304 on both those other boards also.

Handlebars

You might consider changing handlebars. Have seen some talk about Venture handlebars.

Look here.
