How many miles on your V Star?

I have a 2008 1100 custom. I have about 13K on it now. How many miles do you have and what problems if any have you encountered?

Garage
05 650 with 28+k and 06 1100 I got in 08 with about 200miles and now has 14+k. The only problem I have is keeping gas in them.

Bought an '02 650 back in April. The previous owner put 300 miles/year. I'm putting 300 miles/week these days, and feel like I'm buying gas every day!

I'm up to 7K miles, so the 1st major service is coming at me.
I've had to replace the battery only so far, but need new tires. Suggestions?

'02 V Star 650 Custom

Got mine like 8 weeks ago with 2,500 miles on it. Now has right around 4k on the clock (and a bit less metal on the bottom of the floor boards )

12.5 k

Hi,

I traded a non-pristine (but very cool) '75 FJ40 for a pristine '03 with 12k miles about 3-weeks ago. This is my 1st Cruiser bike after many sport and sport touring bikes. I love the laid-back style and of course the sound. At first it was hard to get used to the busy-ness at higher speeds (85-90), but I soon learned you don't often ride cruisers at those speeds for very long anyhow. Now, I'm enjoying my 15 mile commute more than ever.
