headlight aiming

I was out the other night and thought my headlight was not casting ahead far enough approx 20ft on low and 30ft on high is this right i looked in manual all it does is tell you how to replace glenn

Page 3-45 in the above manual. I just raised my light a little at a time untill I had it. That's not the recomended way but I watch the top of the low beam spot and keep it on the ground.

Set it for what you need.
When I got my bike, it was set about like your bike.
It now shoots out for me to cruise my country roads.
The worst you could have is on-coming vehicles flashing their lights at you.
