Does Yamaha Corp use National Cycle shields?

My shield has the appearance of a stock Yamaha classic windshield
(2005 1100C) but the shield had a National Cycle logo molded in it...making me suspect it is not Yamaha but aftermarket. The shield is 16 inches tall from top of headlight cut-out. Too low for me.

ToFast,

A couple of thoughts, I like a windshield to be tall enough I look over the top but the wind just hits the top of my helmet. If it is too tall you will get wind buffeting behind it. If you are getting buffeting think about lowers. I've seen some talk about tilting the windshield. Don't know there.

Don't know about your question but I lean toward it is not stock. I never saw a logo on my windshield.
