Smile Lights

Want to add lights to my 07 Vstar. Do not see any wires extra in head light. I have put them on other models and had Acc. wires there, just wanting to know if I need to run a new wire from Batt or how to hook up to switch. thanks

I have Yamaha lights and the pigtails came with the extra plugs. I wired mine so that they get power through a relay and not the headlight themselves. I use the power from the headlight to close the relay.

I used a relay and a handlebar mounted switch from National Cycle.

Works well
