I got one for my 950 on ebay for $99.00. It's removable and very comfortable, and looks great.
It's made by Grasshopper. Sellers name was "axe63".

Thats not a bad price either. How easy is it to remove? Can you still get to the bolts for the passenger seat?

They do make them, it may take some digging to get one. I was actually able to get one for the 1300 and it works just great on the 950. Key locks and everything.

This drivers one that I have has a reciever bracket that bolts to the passenger seat bolts, and then the back rest just slides in and out of the bracket. And it fits in the saddle bag nicely if you leave the bike parked somewhere. I ride with it on all the time now, can't see riding without it. Takes about 5 minutes to install the bracket, yes you can get to the bolts no problem.

Another happy Grasshopper Back Rest customer here. Take the link and the 950 is listed near the bottom. It's quick on/off and not that expensive. Hint: It's cheaper for the 950 on eBay than on their site but the other way around for the 650.

Thanks a lot! Now I just spent another $90 for my bike.

I've wanted to try a drivers backrest. This grasshopper backrest can't be all bad. They have an ebay rating of 100% with over 4500 feedback.

I know you're going to love it. Then you won't want to ride without it.
What I did was put the L shaped bracket part of the backrest it's self in a vice and bent it a little at a time till I got to just the right position for my likeing. Enjoy!
