How Ugly (Coverless Fork Classic)

I know I've heard its "ugly", but how ugly are the classic's without fork tube covers? I want to start making the bike more slim. Thanks!!!

I won't look bad at all. My local yamaha dealer did it with his personal bike, it a liner but it has the same look as a vstar would.

Awesome, thanks! Anyone have the how-to for removal? I can easily guess at it, but would rather avoid any pot holes.

Take the front wheel off, the fender off, and slide out the fork tubes.
