Feedback on Hardbags for A V-Star 1100 Silverado/

I'm researching hard side bag options for my 1100 Silverado. I came across two that would do the job for a good price, but I'm not familiar with them.

Also looking at Mustang hardbags: .

Any comments on the above or other recommendations would be appreciated.

Got to say that I like the Matazu bags best just from looking. I have Honda hard bags that I carped on to my Silverado. The leather originals were burning up from the exhaust. I like hard bags but they are a different look.
Unless you are really into the leather style, Matazu looks the best.
Just an opinión, fórum bro.

My feet on the pegs and lots of time to go where the road leads.

My Yamaha leather bags are in like new condition & look good on the bike, but not very practical for our purposes. They don't lock & water gets into the bags easily on the road.

I think the Matazu bags look pretty good. Both of these can be painted to go with the theme of the bike.

Here's a few more pics that the guy from Tsukayu sent me. They have a few other styles & sizes but this is the one made specifically for V-Stars & Roadstars.

Those look just like the factory hard bags from yamaha except they open forward instead of to the side.

V Star 1100 Classic B.Y.O.B. Fender
Build Your Own Bagger

We're very pleased to now make our new V Star 1100 "B.Y.O.B." fender available to you..

Made in the USA from the highest quality hand-laid fiberglass this fender uses the stock sub-frame, mounting locations and hardware.. Its design allows it to work with all seats designed for the stock fender and most after market parts designed for the same. Passenger ready!!

Sent to you undrilled in a primer gel-coat that's ready to sand and paint.. Works perfectly with our SSCC hard-bags and can be modified to work with most HD style bag conversions.

Modeled after the stock rear fender to for a uniform appearance but, with a truly custom look, that's still practical for everyday riding. Works with stock or after market taillight options that are made for the 1100 Classic.
Note: Not compatible with stock pipes or rear foot pegs. Carring a passenger requires the use of Passenger Floorboards. 2 into 1 pipes are recommend for use with our hardbags

#SS-29...............$350.00 (Fender Only)
#SS-29A.............$1299.00 (Fender and Hardbags)
#SS06-4706........$255.00 (Cobra Passenger Floorboards

Ive been a fan of these for awhile a bit more costly but a lot better look.

I just got the teardrop/curved ones from them for 50 bucks including shipping on ebay. I have a blue vstar custom, and i found thaT oRIELEYS PAINT IN THE SONIC BLUE PEARL MATCHES PRETTY WELL. yOU WILL HAVE TO ADJUST THE Muont poiNTS THAT COME WITH THEM BECAUSE THE BIKE IS 9 1/2 INCHES ON CENTER, AND THE BAGS ARE 8/1/2 (fucking caps lock!!!) anyway, with the stock exhaust, they will have to be mounted all the way up to have even 1/2 inch cleARENCE TO THE PIPE. Kinda scary when you have heat and plastic. I just got the 2-1 cobra pipe, and i think it'l give me about an inch of clearance. We'll see. But i love the look of them, and they are waay bigger than the Yamaha bags. If you can't put a twelve pack in 'em they're useless!! So, in short, I recommend them.
