ordered new throw over saddle bags

I just ordered these. I like them . I was trying to find a deal on the Vstar hard leather saddle bags. But I think these will work till I find something else. Now just have to wait.....melt snow melt.

Great deal. Now make sure you install with enough pipe clearance that you don't end up with saddlebag burn!

Saddlebag burn is exactly what happened to the set that came with the bike. That and a black mark on the factory exhaust. I used it as and excuse to buy a Vance and Hines slip on !

Good deal! Which Vance and Hines slip on do you have? I've been worried about getting some because of the aftermarket exhaust. Let us know how they fit!

I went with the slash cut vance and hines 2-1 slip on. The only one they make, I think.

New to motorcycles so I apologize if I am wrong.

Saddlebags are a lot bigger than. I thought they would be. So far seem pretty good for the price. Now to go take the cover off and maybe slap them on for a picture.

I had to order new saddlebag supports, I didn't like the way the ones I have tilt the bags out. These are just pics to show what I mean.

Not positioned very good just to show what I mean about the way they sit.
