Will Installing Cobra Pipes Require Jetting?

I'm wanting to install Cobra Speedster Longs on my V-Star 1100 Silverado. I presently have Jardin slip-ons with baffles installed. The bike has run fine without jetted carbs.

My question: If I install the Cobra pipes (with baffles) will I need to jet the carbs and if I don't do it right away, what problems can I expect? I have seen V-Stars with these or similar pipes and what appears to be the original air kit, and I would assume original jets.

I appreciate any input some of you might offer.

Tony

Your pilots most likely will need to be changed. I'm goin through the same thing with my speedster slashdowns.

With my slip-on's I only have some mild pops on decel, but not all the time. I haven't removed the AIS, which should elliminate the popping

I installed the full system slash-cuts and the bike ran great! I didn't have to re-jet until I installed the Hypercharger and pod kit.
