vance and hines classic ii & k&n air filters require jetting?

just slap those on my 2000 dragstar 1100 custom, experiencing popping on decel occasionally, do i need to get it rejetted? if so, which jet kit do u recommend?

assuming dragstar and vstar are the same?

I experience popping on decel often with my pipes, and I have a big air kit and rejetted it. I think it is likely normal when decelling to hear some popping. Since I basically have straight pipes with my unbaffled short shots, I hear it most every time I decel

I get zero with pods and correct jetting with hardkrome sideburners.

sorry if i misunderstood "rejetted", i dont think i have aftermaket jet kit installed

you don't need a kit.all you need is to bump up the mains one size and adjust the pms screw out a bit.you can get mains at your local HDdealer about 5 bucks each.

thanks for the advice! but going to HD dealer woukd not be an option for me as im currently working oversea and im asking a friend to bring me the jet kit...

so back to the question, what do u recommend?

call ss customs or e-mail them and they will send you the correct stuff fairly reasonably.
