Help Identifying a fairing?

I bought a used 2005 1100 V Star Classic last Feb and have lost the contact info of the guy I bought it from. It has an unmarked fairing and windshield on it, but no part numbers, brand, model, etc anywhere on it that I can find. It mounts to the handle bars and to a bracket near the headlight (the bracket has a Yamaha logo on it).

What I'm looking for here is some info on what brand/model/etc so I can find a new windshield for it as mine is pretty rough and scratched. It has 5 bolt holes for the windshield, no console or anything on the inside, just an empty shell with a windshield on it.

Pics below are all I have on me at work, but can post more later if needed.

I've done Google searches for V star windshields but can't find anything that matches, so I'm wondering if it was adapted from a different model or even a different make of bike.

Thanks in advance for any help and let me know if any additional info is needed.

Only batwing fairing I can think of with 5 screws is Hoppe Industries. The link is to one for a Suzuki Boulevard (in a rush and can't find a yammy)

Ohhh, Thank you M'Lady, that might help. I don't think it's exactly the same as that one looks like it has some type of inside liner or something, but the bolt holes may match up.. gonna do do poking around there and see what I can find...

It may very well be a Harley fairing that was adapted for your bike. It is a popular mod because you can buy used ones pretty cheap. You can probably measure the bolt spacing for the windshield and figure out if a HD windshield will work. Lots of options for HD fairing windshields.

its probably a Harley or Hoppe fairing by the looks of it. I would try a few places online. I found one place that sells aftermarket windshields- longrideshields.com or maybe go into a Harley dealership and buy one from them...

Garage
1986/95 H.D. came with the 5 hole and the 96 and up have a 3 hole.
I have read on the H.D. forum that some use the three hole and drill two more holes.
