650 valve noise

Hi,

Does valve noise on the 650 sound any different than valve noise on a Bug or Honda car? In other words, absence any distinguishable noise, can one safely assume all is well?

Thanks,

Not hearing any......

Found my answer......

Valves get tighter over time not looser, therefore it would not get noisy. Therefore no noise is not necessarlly good. I wonder why I always associated valve noise to needing to adjust them....?

When you don't hear them a clattering. You should check them.
Clattering Air cooled valves is a good thing. Most think that they clatter to much. Have them check.
