What size jets are you running?

Tried searching for a jetting page but didn't find it. Been a while since I posted anyway.
Have a 2005 V-Star 1100, it has the pod mod and BUB exhaust. Just cleaned out and tuned the carbs, adjusted the valves and cleared the vacuum lines, along with a tune up. Bike doesn't run bad, but keep noticing something off with the idle.
My brother was ridding behind me today and noticed that when I get on the throttle it starts letting out some black smoke. Have been thinking it was running pretty rich anyway.
It was rejetted when the pods/exhaust were put on to:
Forward Carb: Main jet 142.5 and pilot jet 22.5
Rear Carb: Main jet 140 and pilot jet 22.5

Maybe I could size down? Curious what others have tried with similar mods.

I run 152.5 on both. I have Samson full pipes and chubby pods and 3.5 turns on pms screws. It runs great and that's what was recommended by the guy at ss custom cycle.

Yeah I am running 150s on both with 20s for piltos at 3.5 turns on the screws each. I am a little rich but not much. My plugs still look fine you can just smell it in the exhaust after a good ride. I still get 42-48 mpg so I don't really care.
