V-Star 950 / help with removing cable guards

please, if you have knowledge in removing this, please let me know. I bought some risers and wanted to free up a little bit more. I just can't seem to find the "how to" on getting rid of these. I would prefer not experimenting any more than I have already done.

Thanks for your help

If you are talking about the cable guide under the
Steering head(triple tree) you need to remove the
Mounting bolts from both risers because the guide
Is all one piece under those bolts! Undo your
Cables so you can pull them out of the guides!

You may have to pull the headlight bucket to get
Clearance to remove the guide brackret from the forks?

Keep in mind that bracket also holds you electrical wires in
Place as well as the front brake line!

Some people have had luck running the cables behind the
Tree with taller risers also! In which case you would not need
To remove that bracket?
